For single(as at enlistment) - these people are the "luckier" one

Every soldier goes through shit Basic Military Training for the first few months in an island across the mainland (cept Mono intake).Try spending 2 months in an island with just guy dudes with only little(considering weekends bookout)or no interactions with the opposite sex.

POP is not the end of the tunnel btw.

After which, you will continue this social lifestyle for the rest of the NS term and then again, you will be constricted to the same exact social circle as how you were before enlistment.

That's how NSFs become foreveralone. Besides who in the right mind wants to date a NS ah boy with only 8 available days per month.

BUT at least you wont face any failure in relationships since you're not even close to it. TRUST ME, it's much better to be single.

okay,im a person that dont really believe in resolutions done every end of the year..

sometimes i really do disagree the words chao recruit

Origin: Recruits are the lowest life form in the Army. They are the one that always kena tekan under the scorching sun in Tekong, leading to a strong pungent pespiration smell coming from their sticky bods. chao=smelly

Argument: I WHERE GOT SMELLY SIA!! wth~!! like seriously..i can even re-use the same singlet or T shirt over a few days w/o smelling~!

nvm, you wont believe me..UNTIL YOU SMELL ME~okay,skip..

Eventful anot, you judge..

talking about eventful..recruits life has been quite eventful for me due to my medical condition.

back in 2006, as you may/may not know, i suffered from pneumothorax in my left lung.
and now im havn pneumonia..

how "lucky" i can be right? -_-
pneumothorax on left lung, pneumonia on right lung.
sometimes i just wish im a healthy kid..
used to be very sporty before everything came in...FML

but there's a saying that goes, When God (regardless of religion) gives you something, he/she will take something away from your life.

well, basically God gave me pneumonia and he/she take my breath away.
giving something and taking something away eh?

okay okay, obviously the meaning of the sayin isnt like this la..just JK la~!
i really do look forward to happy events to come into my arms though..

finally got it off~after million times of "okay, im gonna stop workin soon"
in a blink of an eye..ive spend 6 months of my life workin in the company with a bunch of great colleagues..

totally couldnt bear to leave the company durin my last workin hr.

but the emotion wear off within an hour...

guess the exhilaration of freedom overwhelmed everything that went thru my mind.

intially thought that i'd face prob adjusting my daily routine, but no!
even my body clock adjusted so well that i slpt till 12+ the very 1st unemployed day.
woots!!

okay~i find the above quite boring and redundant...but gonna leave it there.

so 1st Oct is here..will update my Taiwan journey in CHINESE if i have the chance to.

Do you have a friend?

good friends, best friends, new friends, old friends, issit that imptt to distinguish them apart from one another?

they're all the same in actual fact.

i do agree the existence of good friends, but the definition should be friends that click well tgt,not the definition of "oh! we have lots of things in common, besides....we've made the pact that if either of us gets married, the other person would be the bridemaid!! OMG OMG! so darn fun!"

not that im abolishing the idea of having friends in my life.

but we do need to take note and point out who are your true friends.

they're supportive in seein you living your life to the fullest, but never supportive all the time, because they dun want to see you heading a wrong path.

occasionally catching up with you just to ensure you're living well or not to check if they needed a listenin ear.

and such.

it's amazing that everyone understands being hypocrital when we've never ever been taught in classes. the closest thing is actually laughing at racist jokes and the very nxt moment, you're actually reciting the pledge during morning assembly.

when you actually take a proper look arnd your life, you'll be totally astounded by the number of hypocrites you're living with.

really misses the primary school days, when everyone was so innocent and true to one another.

lyk lyk specially bringing your favourite sweet the next day just to give your fren.

and it'd be the highlight of his/her day, not forgettin that you'll feel so gd seeing your friend's genuine smile..

oh oh..and those days in the kindergarten when it's your birthday and you'll give all your classmates a bulging packet of candies.

then secretly gives your "best" buddy another extra packet. and in return, he'll give you a wide missing front tooth smile.

here am i with updates on my life..

time flies, unknowingly its more than halfway thru the year 2010..

lets just count things that occured so far this year

1) Graduated from Singapore Polytechnic.
2) Took up dance courses.
3) Have my extra 2 ear piercings

and hopefully putting up braces real soon.

come to think of it,my life in 2010 is rather eventful~(and what i meant isnt the fact tt ive participated in lots of event job.hur hur hur~)

but shant mention here, it's better for me to actually say it out verbally..

well..ended last lesson of popping a week ago..kinda sad due to the fact that for the Wednesdays of past 4 months, ive always been attendin this lesson and occasionally looking forward to them.

and i guess im still noob at it..haha! but its kinda fun though.

lyk how i randomly attended wong's neighbour birthday with wong, ian,shaun,darren..
apparently the concept of the party sounded so cool that it attracts all sorts of ppl there..
but it's way too "cool" till the extent that we decided to leave that place and took some walks around..and i guess tts a rather nice decision of ours.
did lots of random stuff..lyk enterin the changi hotel's poolside at the rooftop and enjoy the moon-light with our very own DJ-darren
apparently everyone remain damn quiet during our mini-party(only the 5 of us)
bcuz if anyone speaks, WE WUN BE ABLE TO FREAKIN HEAR THE MUSIC FROM THE PATHETHIC SPEAKER OF THE ITOUCH!

and during our walk, we spotted this POWER security guard..
who was sleepin darn soundly during his duty!!
POWER LA DEH!

and we decided to snapshot him..ian was forfeited to stand just beside he sleepin snorlax with the thumbs up sign..but well.it came out damn blurry..

1) My cousin stays just above me..and we use to transfer items by using this basket attached by this string that somehow din snap no matter hw..

we would just lower the basket out of the window..hahaha.cool hor!!

There's this period of time whereby we even use the same internet connection..
i mean like..using 1 broadband for 2 household..and you can even see our LAN cable outside of the house.hohoho. (yes lan cable, wireless din exist at tt time)

tell u guys a secret...at times when my bro/i feel the internet lagness, we would plug out the wire..hahaha~

2) My grandma + cousin + nephew + niece stays 11 storey down..at the same block.

my bros and cousins(who live above me) would get down and settle our dinner.. and there's always this chitchat session/gossip session to socialise.

and currently i hate the gossip session cause they're gossiping abt me and assume things that they dun uds! BLEH!

oh and just few days back my nephew fought in school, 1 vs 7 okay!

life has been the same routine everyday.

wakin up at 8+ and goin to work with my 2nd bro.

except that Wed was my 1st lesson with Jolyn..and of cuz it means more fun in attending the course.

and met Jessie and Marcus for dinner ytd..had my virgin ride on a convertible..cool.

actually not true..i rmb i took a convertible when i was quite young..the convertible was quite spacious.

and once it starts to rain, everyone would start helpin out in setting the cover up.. up till now i still dun uds why i was still drenched despite havin the shelter totally setup "nicely"

i din enjoy my first THAT "convertible" ride but definitely enjoyed marcus' convertible ride.

btw the vehicle that i took when i was young was very different from the one i took ytd.and it looked something lyk the one below.

and of cuz enjoyed myself ytd..mainly becuz of the very bit of time that i squeezed out to meet up with them.

today is 13th consecutive day of work..prolly its the number 13 that explains my not-so-good luck for today.

1) Took bus to cwp..and of all the seats, i choose one that leaks water droplets.

2) Stupid car almost banged me down..it was a green man and he turn in w/o botherin my existence.wth.at high speed somemore.

3) Otw home, while transferring train at Jurong east, i actually exited the wrong way..damn!

blame it on work..

FYI,due to low pressure system that develops over northeastern China
most of the asia-pacific region will experience wet weather during sat and sunday.

was raining cats and dogs on ytd till 5+pm
started night cycling at 8+ and the weather was damn red..

and we seriously had strategies back then.and i swear...those strategies are much more effective than those weird team's one.

3 years passes so fast that orientation seems lyk just ytd.

i'll definitely miss sch days,those breaks where the guys will just sit,eat,talk cock..
